Yanga SC star Stephen Aziz Ki has sent a message to fellow attacking midfielder Housseine Zakouani, urging him to return to the squad quickly with the Kariakoo Derby against Simba just days away.
In a message posted on social media, Aziz Ki wrote a brief message to Zakouani urging him to return quickly and work his magic on Saturday.
“Come back quickly to do the magic for us.”
The message came after Zakouani completed his international duties with the Comoros national team, featuring in a friendly against Senegal on Sunday. Comoros lost the match 1-0.
Aziz Ki himself will not be part of the Yanga squad that faces Simba on Saturday as he serves a suspension following a red card.
The star will miss two matches, against Simba and TRA United, before returning to the Yanga squad for subsequent fixtures.
Zakouani Already Has Kariakoo Derby Experience
Zakouani is no stranger to the Kariakoo Derby atmosphere. The star already featured in the derby played earlier this season, when Yanga secured a 1-0 victory over Simba.
The Community Shield match was played at New Amaan Complex on August 12, with Zakouani part of the Yanga squad that secured the victory.
