Yanga’s squad is expected to return to training on September 28 as preparations begin for their upcoming league and CAF Champions League fixtures.
After a friendly match against St George, which Yanga won 1-0, the players were given an eight-day break.
Yanga will have approximately 12 days to prepare for their league clash against traditional rivals Simba, scheduled for October 10.
However, the defending champions will be without more than 10 players who are away on international duty.
As a result, head coach Manqoba Mngqithi is expected to bring in players from the U20 squad to ensure his training programme is not disrupted.
