Yanga attacking midfielder Pacome Zouzoua has sent a motivational message to the players and the entire Wananchi family as the club prepares to begin its CAF Champions League campaign.
Pacome, who will not be part of the Yanga squad for now as he continues to recover from a groin injury, said his heart and thoughts are with the team during this important period.
In his message, the star urged Yanga players to fight until the final minute, give their all and ensure they proudly represent the club’s jersey.
“Good luck to the entire Yanga family on this new Champions League journey. Unfortunately, my absence means I cannot be with you on the pitch, but my heart and thoughts are with the team.”
Pacome added that he believes in the squad’s ability and will continue to support them even while away from the team.
“Give everything, fight until the end and do our jersey proud. I believe in you and I will be with you, even from afar,” he wrote.
Yanga begin their CAF Champions League campaign today with a preliminary-round clash against Gaborone United, scheduled to take place tonight at Botswana National Stadium at 8:00 p.m. Tanzania time.
