Yanga SC have organised a special unveiling ceremony for their latest signing ahead of the 2026/27 season, with the event scheduled to take place tomorrow at KMC Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking during a press conference, Yanga's Head of Information and Communications, Ally Shaban Kamwe, said the unveiling will begin at 4:00 p.m. and that the player will be the final new signing to be officially introduced by the club.
Kamwe also informed Yanga fans that entry to the event will cost TSh 2,000, with supporters and other club stakeholders able to pay at the stadium gates. KMC Stadium is located in the Mwenge area of Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam.
"Tomorrow Yanga SC have our first league match, which we will play in Ruangwa against Namungo FC, but we will also have our event at KMC Stadium."
"Because of the scale of tomorrow's event, we will have our new player at KMC Stadium for a major unveiling ceremony, while we wait for our match, which we will watch from KMC Stadium."
"This will be the first time in Africa that a major player has been unveiled in this way in our league, with the introduction of our new signing."
"For tomorrow's unveiling, we have decided to charge an entrance fee that will allow you to see our player being introduced for just TSh 2,000. The gates at KMC Stadium will open from 4:00 p.m."
"For Black Card members, we welcome you to the stadium, where you will sit in the VVIP area and have the opportunity to have your jersey signed by the player of your choice and take photographs."
"At Yanga, our transfer budget is in GSM's shirt pocket. That means they could have quietly ended the transfer window, but they decided to give Yanga SC fans more excitement by making another new signing."
"GSM has said the money is there to be spent, not locked away. So come to the stadium tomorrow and witness the joy of the Wananchi as we watch our first Premier League match of the season from KMC Stadium," Kamwe said.
