Yanga SC has presented a proposed budget of TSh36.013 billion for the 2026/27 football season, making it one of the largest budgets in the club's history.
The budget was presented today by Yanga's Finance Director, Justina Ernest, during the club's General Election Meeting at The Super Dome.
According to the proposal, a significant portion of the expenditure will be allocated to strengthening the squad and improving the club's operations. A total of TSh13.1 billion has been earmarked for staff salaries and benefits, while TSh8.7 billion has been set aside for the signing of new players as the club aims to build a highly competitive team for both domestic and international competitions.
The budget also includes funding for match preparations, training camps, team travel, and other essential operational expenses for the new season.
On the revenue side, Yanga expects to generate a total of TSh20.69 billion from various income sources as it seeks to further strengthen its financial position and competitiveness.
During the 2025/26 season, the club generated total revenue of TSh29.36 billion. Total expenditure reached TSh29.34 billion, with the largest share going toward staff salaries and benefits, player transfers and registrations, match preparations, travel, food, and accommodation.
After meeting all expenses, the club recorded a surplus of TSh17.5 million.
