There is no time for rest at Avic Town, as Yanga SC's players continue to undergo an intense pre-season program ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Yanga's Information and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, revealed that head coach Manqoba Mngqithi has designed a demanding daily training schedule that begins early in the morning and runs until around 2:00 p.m.
Kamwe explained that the day starts with gym sessions, followed by tactical drills before the squad heads onto the pitch to complete football-specific training.
"Manqoba is a coach who wants his teams to play football, so a great deal of time is devoted to tactical preparation on the training ground," Kamwe said.
Today marks the fourth day of Yanga's pre-season camp, with the club's foreign players expected to join training for the first time. They were granted additional time to report to camp because many had been traveling from abroad.
