Attacking midfielder Shekhan Khamis officially made his debut for Singida Black Stars yesterday during their CECAFA Kagame Cup match against Jamus SC, as he watched his new employers—who are the defending champions of the tournament—suffer a 2-0 defeat.
Shekhan joined Singida Black Stars on a season-long loan from Yanga SC.
The midfielder still has a long-term contract with Yanga but has been sent out on loan to gain more playing time and maintain his competitive level.
Shekhan played the full 90 minutes in the match, which was held at Pele Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.
