Yanga are reportedly in the final stages of completing the signing of Comoros attacking midfielder Housseine Zakouani.
According to transfer sources, Zakouani is set to join the Tanzanian champions as a free agent after the expiration of his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Zulfi.
The Comoros international developed through the Olympique Marseille academy in France and has previously played for French clubs Châteauroux, Hyères 83 FC, and US Thionville Lusitanos.
Zakouani is a versatile attacking player who can operate as an attacking midfielder, on either wing, or in the No. 10 role.
Yanga head coach Manqoba Mngqithi is keen to strengthen the team's wide attacking options, with the club having been linked to several attacking players during the current transfer window.
Yanga's Information and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has also announced that the club will begin unveiling its new foreign signings starting today.
