Geita Gold are reportedly set to open talks with Young Africans SC (Yanga) over a possible loan move for winger Edmund John.
The Championship League champions, who will compete in the NBC Premier League next season, are interested in securing the services of the attacking midfielder, who previously enjoyed a successful spell with the club before their relegation and his subsequent move to Singida BS.
Last season, Edmund experienced different periods with the Yanga squad, with a shoulder injury keeping him sidelined for a long time.
Despite the setbacks, he remains a player who could still have a role in the squad of the Tanzanian champions, considering his contribution, especially in matches towards the end of the previous season.
Meanwhile, in another development, Singida BS are also reported to be interested in signing attacking midfielder Shekhan Khamis on loan.
Like Edmund, Shekhan has experienced mixed periods with the Yanga squad. Strong competition for places has limited his regular appearances in the team.
