Libyan club Al Ittihad are reportedly interested in signing Yanga SC fitness coach Tshephang Mokaila, it has emerged.
Mokaila has completed the one-year contract he signed with Yanga last season and is currently waiting for a decision regarding his future.
Yanga management is still in the process of appointing a new head coach, who will be given the opportunity to recommend the technical staff members he wants to work with next season.
Mokaila enjoyed positive moments during his time with Yanga and was part of the technical bench assembled under coach Romain Folz, who was dismissed early last season.
His contribution was particularly noticeable towards the end of the campaign, as he helped ensure players maintained peak fitness despite a demanding schedule, playing a role in Yanga successfully defending the league title for a fifth consecutive season.
Yanga won six of their final seven matches of the season, recording convincing victories over Singida Black Stars (3-0), Azam FC (3-0), TRA United (3-0), and JKT Tanzania (3-0) in matches many believed could have seen them drop points and lose their grip on the league title.
