Yanga head coach Abdihamid Moalin has said preparations for tomorrow’s NBC Premier League match against Fountain Gate at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha are progressing well.
Speaking during a pre-match press conference, Moalin stated that his team is fully prepared to face Fountain Gate regardless of the tactical approach their opponents choose to adopt.
He acknowledged that the encounter will not be an easy one but expressed confidence in his squad’s ability to deliver a positive result and secure all three points.
“We have enjoyed a good run in our last three matches. We have created many chances and managed to convert some of them effectively. At the same time, we have shown great defensive solidity, conceding very few set pieces and corner kicks. This is a positive sign that we are controlling our opponents in the right areas of the pitch.”
“We have faced teams with different tactical approaches. Some defend deep and wait for counterattacks, while others apply high pressing from the front. We are ready for whatever style Fountain Gate choose to bring.”
“I believe we have quality players in our squad who can help us succeed under any circumstances,” Moalin said.
Yanga head into the match looking to maintain their momentum in the title race as they continue their pursuit of a fifth consecutive NBC Premier League championship.
