Yanga attacking midfielder Mudathir Yahya was named Man of the Match after leading the Wananchi to a 2-0 victory over Mashujaa FC in a match played at Lake Tanganyika Stadium.
Mudathir scored Yanga’s opening goal with a stunning strike from outside the penalty area, widely regarded as one of the finest goals scored in the league this season.
The goal was his ninth of the league campaign, drawing him level with striker Prince Dube, who has remained on nine goals for an extended period.
