Yanga's Executive Committee has appointed a five-member committee to oversee the club’s upcoming election process.
The Election Committee will be chaired by Adv. Malangwe Mchungahela, while Adv. Samwel Mangesho will serve as the Vice Chairman.
In a related development, Committee Chairman Adv. Mchungahela officially announced the commencement of branch-level election procedures, which will run from June 13 to June 26.
The positions to be contested at branch level include:
Chairperson
General Secretary
Treasurer
Two General Assembly Representatives, one of whom must be a woman
Once the branch election process has been completed, the official date for Yanga’s main club elections will be announced.
