Yanga SC striker Laurindo Aurelio "Depu" was in action for the Angola national team on Tuesday night in an international friendly against the Central African Republic.
Depu continued his impressive scoring record for his country by netting one of the goals in Angola’s 3-0 victory. He also provided an assist for the second goal, which was scored by Mabululu.
The match marked Angola’s final fixture of the FIFA international window, and Depu is now set to return to Tanzania to resume Yanga’s quest to defend their domestic titles.
The striker is expected to arrive back today and immediately rejoin the Yanga squad, which is scheduled to travel to Kigoma on Thursday ahead of their Mainland Premier League clash against Mashujaa FC.
The match will be played on Saturday at Lake Tanganyika Stadium, where Yanga will begin the final stretch of their campaign as they seek to retain the league championship.
