Former Yanga SC head coach Miloud Hamdi has left Egyptian club Al Ittihad Alexandria Club after the conclusion of the season.
After parting ways with Yanga at the end of last season, Hamdi joined Ismaily SC before later moving to Al Ittihad.
Although Al Ittihad were interested in continuing with him, the coach reportedly declined to extend his contract as he is seeking a new challenge.
Last season, Miloud Hamdi led Yanga’s technical bench and set a record by winning five trophies in a campaign where the club was managed by three different coaches: Miguel Gamondi, Sead Ramović, and Hamdi himself.
He joined the club after Ramović’s departure, guiding Yanga to strong performances at the end of the season while working alongside Abdihamid Moallin.
If you ask many Yanga fans which coach they would like to see return to lead the technical bench ahead of next season, Miloud Hamdi would likely receive the most votes.
Miloud Hamdi, Nasreddine Nabi, and Sead Ramović are all currently free agents without clubs.
