Yanga SC attacking midfielder Pacôme Zouzoua was among the players who returned to training yesterday as the club begins preparations for the decisive final stretch of the season.
Zouzoua had been sidelined after suffering a knee injury during a match against Singida BS, a setback that saw him miss several fixtures leading up to the international break.
However, the midfielder—popularly referred to as the “professor of football”—is now back in full fitness and participating actively in training sessions as the squad resumed work at the KMC Complex.
His return is a major boost for Yanga, who are aiming to have a fully fit squad available for the crucial closing stages of the campaign.
The club faces five important league matches in its bid to defend the Tanzania Premier League title, along with a tough CRDB Cup semi-final clash against Azam FC.
With the season reaching its decisive phase, Yanga will be relying on the experience and quality of key players like Zouzoua to help them maintain their push for silverware.
