Tanzania Mainland Premier League champions Yanga SC are reportedly closely monitoring Azam FC attacking midfielder Idd Suleiman, popularly known as “Nado,” who has been in impressive form this season.
Reports indicate that Yanga are currently leading the race to sign the player, whose contract with Azam FC is nearing its end and who has yet to sign a renewal.
According to sources close to the transfer process, Yanga have already opened discussions with the player’s representatives. Nado is also a member of the Tanzania national team.
The 30-year-old has enjoyed a strong 2025/2026 season, ranking among Azam FC’s most influential players.
His statistics highlight a major contribution to the team, with involvement in 14 goals — scoring 8 and providing 6 assists.
His ability to play on the wings, deliver accurate crosses, and attack with pace has made him a key asset for Azam FC in several league matches.
For Yanga SC, Nado is seen as a valuable option to strengthen their wide attacking positions, especially due to his experience in the NBC Premier League and his consistency this season.
As a local player, his arrival would also give Yanga additional squad flexibility, allowing them to potentially sign another foreign winger.
