Yanga Communications Manager Ali Kamwe has urged the club’s fans and members to continue supporting the players even during difficult moments in order to motivate them to keep fighting for the team.
Kamwe made the remarks while addressing the absence of Yanga captain Bakari Nondo Mwamnyeto during the CRDB Cup quarter-final match against JKT Tanzania played at Isamuhyo Stadium yesterday.
“Mwamnyeto missed today’s match not because he was sick. He was not in a good psychological condition and asked the coach not to use him.”
“He received many messages on his phone, and some of them were not good. When the team fails to get results, it is not only the fans who suffer — the players also suffer a lot.”
“I ask everyone to support our players at all times because they are human too. There are moments when they may not perform well, so we should encourage them to continue fighting,” said Kamwe.
