The long-awaited milestone for Young Africans SC (Yanga) fans and members is finally set to materialize at the club’s headquarters in Jangwani, Dar es Salaam.
Today, Yanga and GSM are expected to sign an agreement for the construction of a modern stadium at the Jangwani site.
Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Albert Chalamila, is the chief guest at this historic event.
Many had previously dismissed the club’s leadership as merely making promises regarding the stadium project, but now the process has officially moved into implementation.
Yanga President Eng. Hersi Said had earlier promised supporters that he would ensure the club owns its own stadium before leaving office, and today marks a major step toward fulfilling that pledge.
This moment represents a significant milestone in the journey toward completing a project that was once doubted by many.
