Head coach of Young Africans SC, Abdihamid Moalin, has confirmed that preparations for their upcoming Tanzanian Premier League match against Dodoma Jiji have been completed.
Yanga will face Dodoma Jiji tomorrow, Wednesday, at Airtel Stadium in Singida, in a match where the reigning champions are targeting all three points to strengthen their position at the top of the league table.
Moalin said all players are available and ready for selection except defender Mohamed Hussein “Zimbwe Jr”, who is currently under medical observation after returning from injury.
He added that he expects a difficult match against Dodoma Jiji but remains confident in his squad’s quality, noting that the conditions at Airtel Stadium could work in their favour since they are similar to those at KMC Complex, where Yanga usually play home matches.
Moalin also emphasized that every remaining match in the season is crucial, and the team will approach the game with caution while aiming for victory.
He said:
“Preparations have gone well. The gap between our last match and this one is very short, so we had to ensure players get enough rest and are ready for tomorrow’s game. We expect a tough match like the previous one, but I believe we are ready.”
“It will be a highly competitive game against a good Dodoma Jiji side. I think the pitch conditions will help us a bit because they are similar to what we are used to at KMC. Despite the tight schedule, we know we have a job to do here and we came for three points.”
“All players are fit and ready except Mohammed Hussein, who is returning from injury. We are waiting for the final medical assessment to determine if he will be available tomorrow.”
“It is also good to have Mudathir back after his suspension. Every match from now until the end of the season is very important for us. The technical bench, players, and management are all working to ensure we collect three points in every game,” said Moalin.
