Yanga SC centre-back Ibrahim Bacca has urged fans and members of the club to remain united despite losing the Muungano Cup final against their rivals Simba yesterday.
Bacca encouraged Yanga supporters, assuring them that the team will return to their usual joy after “slipping up” in yesterday’s match.
“At all times we need to be united. We know you are going through a lot because of yesterday’s result, but we must accept the outcome,”
“It is important to be patient and quickly move on, because tomorrow is better,” Bacca wrote on his social media account.
In that match, Bacca received the fair play award for his discipline.
The result of the Muungano Cup final against Simba has not only hurt fans but also affected players, who have shown disappointment after losing the title they won last season.
Yanga now have about three days to regroup before facing Simba again in a Premier League match on Sunday, May 03, at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium.
