Head coach of Young Africans SC, Pedro Goncalves, has expressed confidence that his team is ready for their upcoming NBC Premier League match against Mbeya City FC, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, April 16, at KMC Complex.
Despite acknowledging the difficulty of the match, Pedro said he believes in his squad and expects them to fight hard to secure all three points.
He also noted that the return of striker Prince Dube, who had been sidelined due to injury, gives him added optimism ahead of the encounter.
"In the last match, I made several changes to give some players a chance to regain fitness. It was also a good opportunity to rest some of our key players. Therefore, I expect better efficiency from my players tomorrow, and our goal is to secure three points while entertaining our fans,"
"Our last away match against Mbeya City was very tough due to the pitch conditions. Tomorrow we will play in a different environment that we are more familiar with. I believe we are stronger and we urgently need the three points. I know they also need points, but for us, it is a different story. I am very confident that my team is in a good tactical and technical condition."
"Although we need the three points by any means, we must remain cautious. We have to respect our opponents. Mbeya City have a good and experienced squad. Concentration will be key tomorrow. Football is a game of mistakes—one error can cost you the entire match."
