Yanga SC have made significant progress in their stadium construction project after completing the design plans and cost estimates for the modern facility.
Speaking to TBC Online, club president Engineer Hersi Said said preparations are progressing well and with great attention to detail to ensure the project meets the required standards.
“Regarding the stadium construction, we have reached a very good stage. We are handling the process with great care and precision. We announced GSM as the winners of the stadium construction tender. We have already received the initial stadium design, and the club has provided feedback. As of yesterday, we completed all the designs and construction cost estimates,” said Hersi.
The GSM company has been tasked with overseeing the construction, and the completion of the design phase signals that implementation of the project could begin once the remaining procedures are finalized.
The stadium, which is expected to be built near the club’s headquarters in Jangwani, Dar es Salaam, is planned to be a modern facility that meets international standards, a move that will enable Yanga to have their own home ground.
