As Yanga prepare to travel to Tabora to face Tanzania Prisons in a Premier League match scheduled for Thursday, March 12, their following match against Azam FC has been moved back to Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Azam FC Head of Information and Communications, Thabit Zacharia, popularly known as “Zakazakazi,” confirmed that the match scheduled for March 15 will now be played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Earlier, the government had announced the closure of the stadium to allow for major renovations. However, the renovation work has not yet started.
Before facing Azam FC, the defending champions will first play Tanzania Prisons the day after tomorrow, a match that requires them to travel to Tabora. After completing that fixture, they will return to Dar es Salaam to face Azam FC.
