Prince Dube leads the list of top scorers for Yanga with six goals, followed by Laurindo Aurelio who has scored five.
Despite starting the season slowly due to injury challenges, Mudathir has continued his consistent scoring record as he does every season, reaching four goals after scoring in Yanga’s 3–0 victory over Singida Black Stars.
Maxi Nzengeli, Mohamed Hussein and Andy Boyeli (who has since left the club) have each scored two goals, while Celestin Ecua (JSK), Duke Abuya, Damaro, Shehan, Okello and Kouma have each scored one goal.
Yanga and Azam FC are the only teams that remain unbeaten in the league so far, and they are expected to face each other in the Mzizima Derby on March 15.
