The Media and Communications Manager of Yanga, Ali Kamwe, has insisted that despite the strong effort shown by Simba in yesterday’s Kariakoo Derby in Zanzibar, which ended in a goalless draw, Simba have still failed to end their winless streak against Yanga, now stretching to seven consecutive matches.
Through his social media page, Kamwe outlined several incidents that occurred ahead of the match, claiming they demonstrated that their rivals still have a long way to go before they can secure a victory over Yanga.
Addressing the controversial goal claimed by Simba, Kamwe stated that it was clear striker Suleiman Mwalimu had handled the ball earlier in the move, but the referees allowed play to continue.
