After several days of negotiations, Yanga are close to completing the signing of Angolan striker Laurindo Dilson Aurelio, popularly known as “Depu,” from Polish club Radomiak Radom.
Yanga and Depu had already agreed on personal terms, with the delay in finalizing the transfer stemming from negotiations between the clubs, particularly over the transfer fee.
However, an agreement now appears to have been reached after Radomiak Radom excluded Depu from the squad, as he was missing from the list of players who returned to training yesterday.
It is reported that Yanga submitted their final offer two days ago, estimated at £250,000, which is equivalent to more than TSh 720 million.
Yanga head coach Pedro Goncalves has requested the striker’s signing, urging the club’s management to ensure Depu is secured during this transfer window.
