Despite Zimbabwe losing their opening AFCON 2025 match 2–1 to Egypt, Yanga striker Prince Dube scored Zimbabwe’s only goal in the game, becoming the first player from the Tanzania league to find the net in the tournament.
It can be said that Dube has been reborn, as he continues his fine goal-scoring form by netting his fourth goal in the last five matches.
