After landing in Algiers yesterday afternoon, November 25, 2025, Yanga traveled approximately 100 kilometers by road to the city of Tizi Ouzou, where they will play their second CAF Champions League group-stage match against hosts JS Kabylie.
Yanga has checked into Le Relais Vert Hotel, where the team will stay until Saturday afternoon, November 29, 2025, when they depart for Tanzania after completing Friday’s match on November 28, 2025.
It is reported that Yanga has booked the entire hotel, meaning no other guests will occupy the facility, which will remain exclusively under Yanga’s control until their departure on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
The decision to secure the entire hotel is aimed at avoiding potential sabotage, recalling the disturbances during the CAF Confederation Cup final on the night of June 9, 2023, when some USM Alger fans stormed the team’s hotel.
During those incidents, a Yanga official, Hafidh Saleh, had to be rushed to the hospital after being affected by fireworks detonated inside the hotel.
Yanga will take to the pitch this Friday for their second Group B match, to be played at Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou, located in the city of Boukhalifa in the Kabylia region of Algeria. The stadium has a seating capacity of 50,766 spectators.
