Yanga Assistant Captain Dickson Job says the New Amaan Complex is not new territory for them, as they have played several competitive matches at the venue. He believes this familiarity gives the team confidence ahead of their CAF Champions League group-stage opener against AS FAR.
Job noted that preparations for the match are complete and urged fans to fill the Amaan Stadium to boost the team’s morale.
“On behalf of my teammates, we have prepared very well. We are ready to face any opponent that comes our way. We have great confidence and expectations to secure three important points tomorrow.”
“We have played several international matches at this Amaan Stadium. Yanga fans are everywhere across the country—wherever we go, we receive great support. We believe their energy tomorrow will help us perform well on the pitch,” Job said.
Yanga are expected to complete their final training session today at the Amaan Stadium ahead of their showdown with AS FAR tomorrow, Saturday, at 4:00 PM.
