Yanga defender Ibrahim Bacca was unable to travel early yesterday with the Tanzania national team, 'Taifa Stars', to Egypt after experiencing a health issue at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA).
Bacca was forced to remain in the country and return to camp at Avic Town, where, after recovering later in the day, he joined Yanga’s training session ahead of their first CAF Champions League group stage match against AS FAR, scheduled for November 22 at the New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar.
*Taifa Stars* are set to play a friendly match against Kuwait on November 14 in Egypt.
In more good news for Yanga fans, midfielder Mudathir Yahya also returned to training after being sidelined for several days with a knee injury.
Mudathir had been included in the *Taifa Stars* squad but was unable to travel due to his condition.
Both players took part in Yanga’s training session held yesterday at the KMC Complex.
After the 'Taifa Stars' match against Kuwait, other players who were with the national team are expected to rejoin Yanga’s preparations for the upcoming clash against AS FAR.
