Yanga SC has selected the New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar as the venue for their three home matches in the CAF Champions League group stage.
The club’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, stated that the decision to play the matches in Zanzibar was made after a thorough evaluation, taking into account the club’s broader interests.
“After the management conducted an in-depth assessment and considered the club’s overall interests, I’m pleased to announce that all our three home matches in the group stage will be played at the New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar,” Kamwe said.
“I urge our fans and members from the islands of Pemba and Unguja to get ready to welcome the team and prepare strongly for our first home match against FAR Rabat.”
“We also call on members from the mainland to get ready as well. We are in a tough group, but if we remain united and continue working together, we will make it through,” Kamwe added.
