Yanga SC players Celestin Ecua and Lassine Kouma are part of the Chad national team preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
Ecua and Kouma have been included in Chad’s squad after switching national allegiance from their previous countries.
Ecua was originally an Ivorian national, while Kouma hailed from Mali — both having parents of Chadian descent.
Ecua has already represented Chad, featuring in their previous match against Ghana, where he scored the goal that earned them a draw.
Although their start at Yanga may have been gradual, there is no doubt about the talent and potential of these two players.
