Tomorrow, Friday, September 19, the CAF Champions League preliminary round match between Wiliete SC and Yanga will take place at the November 11 Stadium, kicking off at 6:00 p.m. Tanzanian time.
The hosts, Wiliete SC, have announced free entry for fans, scrapping ticket charges for the game.
This marks Wiliete SC’s first-ever participation in a CAF competition, with the club being only around seven years old since its founding.
The November 11 Stadium has a capacity of about 48,500 fans, and the hosts are attempting to fill it, despite not being one of Angola’s biggest or most well-known clubs.
Last season, Wiliete SC finished second in the league standings behind Petro Atletico, thereby securing their ticket to the Champions League for the very first time.
