Today at the Yanga headquarters in Jangwani, a special prayer ceremony was held in preparation for the 2025/26 competition season.
The prayer gathering brought together Yanga fans and members from across the country to pray for their team to have a successful season.
Yanga Vice President, Arafat Haji, joined the supporters at the ceremony and expressed his gratitude to all who attended.
Arafat noted that it is customary for Yanga to seek God’s guidance, as the club strongly believes in prayer and worship.
“We thank all the spiritual leaders who came to Jangwani today for this prayer. Many leaders traveled from far, including a pastor who came all the way from Mwanza,” he said.
“It is clear that this club touches the hearts of so many people. Praying before the start of the season has become our tradition, as we strongly believe in worship,” he added.
“Please continue to pray for us. Pray for good health, peace, and that God protects us from harm, envy, misfortune, and calamities,” said Arafat.
