Reports suggesting that Yanga is considering bringing back midfielder Khalid Aucho are unfounded, as the Citizens have already completed their quota of foreign signings.
Yanga has finalized its list of 12 foreign players, which includes Djigui Diarra, Frank Assink, Moussa Balla Conte, Maxi Nzengeli, Celestine Ecua, Lassine Kouma, and Prince Dube.
The others are Andy Boyeli, Pacome Zouzoua, Duke Abuya, Chadrack Boka, and Mohamed Doumbia.
Aucho is linked with a move to Singida Black Stars as a free agent after his contract with Yanga expired.
Yanga awarded Aucho a special honorary recognition after his four years of service with the Citizens.
Conte is expected to take over his role, while Yanga is also confident of relying on other players in that position such as Duke Abuya, Mudathir Yahya, and Salum Aboubakar.
Additionally, youngster Abdulnasir Abdallah ‘Casemiro’ could also be deployed in the defensive midfield role.
