Former Yanga winger Jonathan Ikangalombo has returned to DR Congo, where yesterday he was spotted training with his former club, AS Vita.
The star has not yet officially signed with Vita, but there is a strong possibility he will rejoin his former employers.
Yanga informed the winger that they have no plans to continue with him next season.
The process of finalizing his departure is ongoing after the player rejected the idea of being sent out on loan.
Ikangalombo joined Yanga in January during the mid-season transfer window, but it took him nearly three months to break into the first team.
However, his performances did not convince Yanga’s management, who decided to terminate his two-year contract.
