Next Friday, August 15, Yanga will be in Rwanda to participate in the Rayon Sports Day festival, with the Mainland Tanzania champions invited by their hosts.
Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has invited members and fans to join the trip to Rwanda.
Yanga is expected to travel with a convoy of supporters, just as they did two seasons ago when they went to play against Al Merrikh in the CAF Champions League qualifying match for a place in the group stage.
The match against Rayon will be the first real test for coach Romain Folz’s squad ahead of the 2025/26 competition season, in which Yanga aims to maintain its domestic dominance and achieve even greater success in the Champions League.
