Yanga President Engineer Hersi Said has thanked Haier for continuing its partnership with the club—a relationship he described as instrumental in the success of Tanzania’s football champions.
Speaking at the signing ceremony of the new sponsorship deal today, Hersi noted that Haier has been part of Yanga’s journey since they first signed a sponsorship agreement two years ago during the CAF Confederation Cup, where Yanga reached the final.
Hersi stated that the new three-year contract will strengthen Yanga financially and provide further motivation for the club to perform even better.
"Today is a historic day for our club. We are announcing the extension of our partnership with Haier Tanzania, which is fantastic news for the financial strength of our team. The initial contract was very successful. We performed exceptionally in the Confederation Cup and reached the final."
“The partnership between Haier and Yanga has been a blessing. We hope this new contract will bring even greater success. In our first season with Haier, we reached the CAF Confederation Cup final. This new agreement will run for three years, until 2028."
"The Haier logo will appear on the left sleeve during league competitions. The value of this contract is TSh 3.3 billion," Hersi said.
