Despite being linked with a move to Singida Black Stars, midfielder Khalid Aucho has broken his silence, making it clear that he will not play for any other club in Tanzania after closing his chapter with Yanga SC.
Aucho stated that he does not want to damage the strong relationship he has built with Yanga, a club he says has given him exceptional value and recognition.
"I'm very thankful for the award I received from Yanga. To me, it's an honor to see that they appreciated the effort I gave throughout my time at the club,"
"To me, Yanga is family—it's a part of my life. They have become like brothers to me, and I will always return here,"
"You will not see me playing for another team in Tanzania. I'm leaving, and I'm going far—very far from here," said Aucho.
Two days ago, Yanga President Engineer Hersi Said presented Aucho with a special award in recognition of his contribution over four seasons with the club.
Aucho has also been promised a future role at Yanga in a different capacity once he retires from playing professional football.
