Yanga SC is set to unveil its new head coach next week, who will take over from Miloud Hamdi. Hamdi recently joined Ismailia after leading Yanga to win three out of five possible trophies last season.
Yanga's Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, confirmed that all formalities regarding the new coach have been finalized, and the announcement will be made on Wednesday or Thursday.
"There have been many questions, and fans are eager to know who our coach will be,"
"Now I can tell Yanga fans and members that on Wednesday or Thursday, we will officially announce our head coach," said Kamwe.
The name most widely linked with the role is former Mamelodi Sundowns Assistant Coach, Romain Folz.
The 35-year-old is set to return to competitive football after serving Algerian side Olympique Akbou last season, where he helped the club avoid relegation during the final eight matches.
