Yanga SC head coach Miloud Hamdi has stated that his team is fully prepared for their upcoming Premier League match against Tanzania Prisons, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18, at the Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.
Speaking during a press conference ahead of the game, he said his players understand the importance of this match and the three remaining fixtures as they aim to defend their titles.
"We are facing four finals, starting with tomorrow’s match against Tanzania Prisons. We must win all of these games to defend our titles."
"Every player knows the importance of this game. We have prepared well tactically to ensure we come out with a win."
"I don't care how our opponents have prepared for the match. We haven’t come to Mbeya for a walk — we've come to take three points. We're focused, and nothing short of victory will satisfy us."
"We know it will be a tough game because we’re playing against a strong and experienced Tanzanian league side, but let me say that we’ve made the type of preparations needed to win this match," said Hamdi.
In this match, Hamdi will be without striker Kennedy Musonda, who remained in Dar es Salaam due to illness.
Hamdi noted that in these season-ending matches, he wished to have every player available as part of the squad to help secure all three points in each game.
