Azam FC winger Gibril Sillah has in the past openly expressed his desire to one day play alongside Yanga stars such as Pacome Zouzoua, Stephane Aziz Ki (now with Wydad), and Prince Dube, who was once his teammate at Azam FC.
It is reported that Sillah's contract with Azam FC is nearing its end as the season concludes, and the player has yet to sign a new deal with the Chamazi-based side.
So far, Yanga has not made any official move to sign the winger, despite the fact that he has scored against them three times in various league encounters, proving to be a consistent threat.
Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has proudly claimed that currently, every player in Tanzania dreams of playing for Yanga.
"It’s not just him; many players have requested to join Yanga. If we were to reveal all their names, people would be shocked," Kamwe revealed.
"That’s because Yanga is the biggest club in Tanzania right now. We offer good salaries, bonuses, and all payments are made on time."
"Special recognition goes to Yanga President, Engineer Hersi Said, for creating this professional environment," Kamwe boasted.
Kamwe also hinted that Yanga has intentions of approaching Azam FC once the transfer window opens!
