The Women's Football Committee of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), in its meeting to review Premier League match reports, has fined Alliance Girls TSh 500,000 and awarded a loss in their match against Yanga Princess for committing fraud by fielding a foreign player, Oruko Amutata Noel, under the name Shamsa Julius, despite knowing she was not registered with the team.
A statement released by the committee earlier today further stated that Alliance Manager, Oliva Moshi, has been banned for two years and ordered to pay a fine of TSh 500,000. This decision was made based on Rule 47(13) of the Women's Leagues Regulations.
Additionally, acting Secretary General of Alliance, Suzan Geofrey, has also been banned for two years and fined TSh 500,000, in accordance with Rule 47(13) of the Women's Leagues Regulations.
Yanga Princess has been awarded a 3-0 win based on Rule 42(11) of the Women's Leagues Regulations.
The match, which was played in the first round, had originally ended in a goalless draw.
