It is a bit surprising because Hersi, who is also the President of Yanga, is not involved in the procedures of the game
CAF has its own procedures that they follow when making decisions on where and why matches should be played
Everyone knows that the Government is making great efforts to improve the Benjamin Mkapa stadium to ensure that it is ready for the CHAN tournament that starts in August this year
CAF conducted an inspection and satisfied itself with the condition of the Mkapa stadium and its future if it will be used during this period when it is raining
How is Hersi involved in that? He is only a member of the CAF Executive Committee, decisions regarding the quality of stadiums are overseen by a special CAF Committee
But also the New Amaan Complex Stadium is one of the best stadiums in Tanzania and has met all CAF criteria
As a country we must be proud of having more than one stadium that meets CAF criteria, what if there was only one stadium, wouldn't that match have to be played abroad?
