Yanga's Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has said that they are ready to play the Kariakoo Derby if they are given detailed explanations about the reasons for the postponement of game number 184 by the League Board on March 8 this year.
Kamwe said that these answers will help Yanga members understand the real situation and thus reduce this state of confusion.
In addition, Kamwe added that if Simba Club explains why it did not bring the team to the stadium on March 8, then Yanga will be ready to participate in the game to be played on June 15, 2025.
"They ran away from the match on March 08, we are here because Simba ran away on March 08th, tell us who was not in their team on March 08 who has been added today?"
"If all their players were there, tell us why they ran away? We Yanga want answers why they ran away?"
"If "We will be given answers, I believe our members will calm down. We want answers from the authorities or even Simba themselves if they can come out in public and tell us why they ran away on March 08, we can change our minds and play the match on June 15 if they admit they ran away from the shame of being defeated for the fifth time in a row," said Kamwe
While Yanga awaits answers, the Branch Leaders' Meeting held in Jangwani yesterday, Members have resolved to convene an emergency meeting to discuss the saga and announce the official position of Members across the country
