Yanga continues to write another record after playing 23 consecutive matches without losing, including 15 in the Mainland Premier League, four in the Confederation Cup (FA) and four in the African Champions League.
Records show that since Yanga was defeated by MC Alger in the first leg, they have not lost a single game since then.
Before that match, Yanga started the season by playing eight consecutive Premier League matches and four in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League by winning all of them and qualifying for the group stage, where they started by losing two consecutive matches against Al Hilal and Mc Alger, while in the League they were defeated by Azam who scored 1-0 and then fell 3-1 to Tabora United.
Then after those four consecutive losses, Yanga organized themselves and played 23 games in all competitions without losing and out of them they have won 20 and drawn three, where the team's attack has scored 75 goals and allowed its nets to be shaken once 10.
Of those 15 games, they are in the Premier League, where they have won 14 and drawn one against JKT Tanzania on February 10, 2025, with the attack scoring 52 goals and allowing their nets to be shaken six times.
The other four are in the African Champions League group stage, starting with a 1-1 draw against TP Mazembe of DR Congo and then winning 3-1 in the return leg in Dar es Salaam, beating Al Hilal 1-0 and drawing with MC Alger.
In those games, Yanga's attack has scored five goals while allowing its nets to be shaken only twice.
