Former Yanga Information Officer/ Spokesperson Haji Manara has called on the club's to convene an emergency meeting of members to discuss the statement made by TFF President Wallace Karia on Yanga's claims after the postponement of the game against Simba contrary to the rules
Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Manara said the statements Karia made in an interview with a radio station have humiliated Yanga and its leaders
Manara said Yanga fans have a duty to demand their rights and the authorities have a duty to act fairly according to the rules but it is sad to see those who have been given the authority uttering harsh and sarcastic language
"I still wonder why the TFF President (Karia) has made such statements, I don't understand what he wants to tell us"
"But when I read and look at his body language, I see this is arrogance of power"
"Saying this is stupid and childish is an insult, it is an intoxication of power"
"Saying you go and play in movies is an insult because even those movies are a big industry that benefits many artists. Movies are not a trivial matter because they generate huge income for the country. Even the President of the country played in a movie"
"Who will come out to answer him? I know our leaders are afraid because he have created an environment where if you just him you are banned. But Yanga leaders should have issued a statement condemning those statements immediately after they were uttered," said Manara
