Yanga's head coach, Sead Ramovic, has said that the hope in the CAF Champions League are still the same after defeating TP Mazembe 3-1 and claiming that the defeat was less than the chances they created, while striker Clement Mzize shocked the Congolese at Mkapa Stadium
Yanga got the victory in the fourth round match of Group A and made Ramovic believe, they have the right numbers to reach the quarter finals even though they have two obstacles in front of them, Al Hilal and MC Alger
Ramovic has congratulated his players for keeping fast and well the philosophies he gave them with the belief that they can win against Al Hilal this weekend away, then return home to host MC Alger on January 18
"It is a result that gave us confidence that we can still do something to reach the goal of reaching the quarter-finals, this is a big match we have decided with the great strength of our quality," said Ramovic and added
"We need to continue with results like this in the next two matches, I'm happy with the way the players continue to improve, we play the football we want to play by denying the opponent a chance to breathe"
Ramovic also said the other day, Yanga deserved to win with a greater number of goals, as they created a lot of chances especially in the first half and even in the second when they scored two important goals after going into the break as they were tied 1-1 with Mazembe.
>"We have a lot of respect for our opponents (Mazembe) but we deserved a bigger win yesterday (the other day) we could have scored five to six goals if we had been more focused. It was a match with a lot of pressure to win for each player but we continued to calm them down to play with focus so that we can get what we want"
