At the end of the week Yanga in collaboration with the GSM Foundation contributed TZS 50 Million to a special fundraiser organized by the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute - JKCI for the purpose of supporting the treatment of 1500 children treated at the institution
The Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute - JKCI gave an honorary award in recognition of Yanga's contribution in raising awareness and donating money to support the treatment of children treated at the institution
The award was presented by the Retired President of the fourth phase, Hon. Dr. Jakaya Kikwete and received by the Director of the Department of Marketing and Members of Yanga, Ibrahim Samwel
